Description Nathan Waddell 2016-03-10 20:10:38 UTC
I would like to have a keyboard shortcut in Konsole for switching between tabs. This would be very convenient when working in multiple sessions.

If such already exists, I would request that it is added to the Konsole handbook.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.None
2.
3.

Actual Results:
N/A

Expected Results:
N/A

I didn't see a clear way to file a wishlist request instead of a bug. I apologize if this was incorrectly filed. If that is the case, please close this bug and direct me to the correct location.

There already is: Shift+Cursor left, Shift+Cursor right

They are mentioned in the handbook:
https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/applications/konsole/commandreference.html#settings-menu

And they are "documented" and configurable in Konsole's "Configure Shortcuts..." dialog ("Next tab", "Previous tab"), reachable via the "Settings" menu like in every other KDE application.
You can change the shortcuts to whatever you want.
You can also set up shortcuts to switch to a specific tab ("Switch to tab X").

You did file it as wishlist.
But as your requested feature already exists, I'm closing it as INVALID...
