With dark themes (tested with Oxygen and Breeze with the Breeze dark color scheme), a white gradient will appear in Muon from the bottom of the toolbar to a little further. It looks bad because of the contrast with dark themes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set a dark KDE theme 2. (Preferably use Breeze or Oxygen because I only had those issues on those two) 3. Launch muon (no matter what's the tab) Actual Results: The white gradient will appear on the background and kill the aspect of the program. Expected Results: It shouldn't show it. I'm using kubuntu backports.
I tried with Breeze dark and changing other dark color schemes in kubuntu 15.10 backports, but cannot see what you mean. Could you please provide a screenshot? Anyway, it looks more like a problem in the theme than with muon itself. Is it the only application where you see the gradient?
Here it is : http://i.imgur.com/Ep6fAc0.png It's pretty much the only program in which I have the problem. Libreoffice looks terrible as well, yet I think this is rather caused by its nature : http://i.imgur.com/UB5GOCO.png . I can't recall of another program encountering the same issue. I use the Breeze Dark color scheme.
yes, I see the same gradient in muon-discover.
I think it's meant to be a gradient from the toolbar to the actual background. It probably ignores the color scheme. Shouldn't that be to change?
