Mageia 5 has quite an old version of Plasma 5. What's your version of plasma-nm? I couldn't reproduce this problem on latest Plasma 5.5.5.

Aha, you are not using Plasma 5? If not, then KDE 4 is no longer supported. Update please to Plasma 5.4.x and higher.

I use what comes from the repository via updates
so that would make it a Mageia bug
