Kubuntu 15.10 Fonts and some of the UI, where I get random graphic artifacts. Weirdly enough, some windows (like system settings) are not affected at all, while other windows are affected when something from Plasma is getting rendered (Look and Feel entry of System Settings app is affected while everything else is working flawlessly). Forcing Anti Aliasing gets rid of some artifacts. Forcing high dpi doesn't do anything. Playing around with compositor didn't really help either. When you are scaling a panel with clock widget (task manager is not affected by bug with enabled AA) you can see different characters switch through bugged and not bugged versions because it's font gets scaled live. Additional screenshot: Enabled AA, XRender, you can see system settings getting affected by bug only in frame with Plasma live screenshot rendered while Dolphin works perfectly fine. http://postimg.org/image/6k4pny9kp/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have ATI x1250 laptop card and radeon open driver. 2. Boot into Plasma 5 desktop on it's default settings. Actual Results: Fonts and UI elements have artifacts (see image). Everything that involves Plasma 5 (Look and Feel entry of system settings for example) is affected. Programs that don't involve Plasma 5 are not affected at all. Very large fonts (~36 and bigger) seem to be not affected by bug Expected Results: Intended font rendering on desktop either by doing additional settings or by bugfix. Plasma 4 works flawlessly.
Is this still an issue?
