Description arne anka 2016-03-06 00:26:05 UTC
most notably network-manager produces frequently notification popups that are illegible since they simply show a piece of the windows behind it instead of the actual message.

before they may (may not) render correctly, the popup disappears again and i am unable to find them to at least check what it was about.

see attached screenshot for an example.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. happens very frequently
2.
3.

instead of that piece of the panel's systray, there should be the actual message and all the fancy stuff of a notification popup

This looks like a driver issue. Do you use Intel graphics?
