Description Evert Vorster 2016-03-04 03:42:29 UTC
The context menu on the empty space on the timeline is kind of sparse.
It only contains "Insert Space" and "Remove Space"

It would be nice if it also contained all the items on the menu that is obtained when one clicks on the down arrow on the add clip icon in the Project Bin.

Then one would be able to add color clips and title clips and so on directly to the timeline, with the benefit of the start time of the clip already being defined by the position of the mouse click.

Of course, any clips added in this way will also have to be added to the project bin, but this can happen in the background.
This sort of thing just seems more intuitive.

Reproducible: Always
