Open Okular > open PDF, Okular crashes

Plasma 5.5.4, openSUSE 42.1 (Leap), Okular Version 0.24.2 (KDE Development Platform 4.14.17)

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

I noticed some weird MIME errors before this issue but rebooting seems to have fixed it

The crash can be reproduced every time.

It seems /usr/share/mime did not have read permission for other so Okular was unable to read it and crashed. I think it should at least pop up an error explaining that it was unable to read the MIME database rather than just crashing.
