A feature I would very much like to see, (as an option under "Settings -> Configure Dolphin -> General -> Behaviour", perhaps), would be for new sub-directories to inherit the icon of their parent.

For example, if a directory had the "folder-green" icon, then new sub-directories of that directory would also have the "folder-green" icon.

5 Years, that long? My goodness, how time flies!

Still wishing; IMHO it would still be a useful feature.
