(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: KDE 2.2.2
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Would like to request a new feature in kmail. This is something that I remember outlook offered as a mail popping option.

In addition to keep mail on server or delete retrieved mail from server have some other neato options:

- Delete mail from server when it is deleted locally.

- Delete mail which is more than X days old.

- Delete mail marked "something" and add the flag for it to konqueror. In fact there should be a separate [not wide] column for flags (like in mozilla mail) so that mail can be sorted by those flags. Filters should be able to set these flags which could include readreplieddeleted etc. But that should prolly be a separate feature request ;-)
