Default setup - settings->configure krita->general->tool options Change tool options from docker to toolbar crashes almost every time Also, once set to tool options in toolbar, the options disappear Reproducible: Always Actual Results: No tool options in toolbar http://www.mlbassoc.com/misc/krita_2016-02-28.png Expected Results: Should look like this: http://www.mlbassoc.com/misc/krita_2016-02-28a.png This is based on the recent video by David Revoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCWY1imnCxE
Tooloption in toolbar means that the docker becomes a dropdown between the colors and the brush settings. I can see this in your screenshot. I cannot reproduce the crash on Ubuntu, which means I can't get a backtrace made, so we'll have to wait for someone who can.

How do I configure it so the tools are in a vertical toolbar as in David Revoy's tutorials? > I cannot reproduce the crash on Ubuntu, which means I can't get a backtrace > made, so we'll have to wait for someone who can. >
You drag the toolbox docker to be the correct size, by default it's 2 columns wide. The toolbox docker is something different from the tooloptions docker. You can get it back by going into settings->dockers. I am closing this now.
