I'm suffering an increase of duplicate emails in latest kmail on tumbleweed. It seems to fluctuate between quite a bit and a few duplications. I uses filters on incoming messages to file them in the correct folders. I get duplications of on first run of kmail of the day and repeated duplications of the same messages as well as new ones during later runs of kmail. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. run kmail 2. check message folders after all emails downloaded and filtered 3. identify duplicates Actual Results: Ranges from a zero to quite a few and duplicates of duplicates Expected Results: No duplicates

Same problem here: Linux 64-bit Mageia-5: Kmail 4.14.5
Still happening in kmail 5.22 KDE Frameworks 5.23.0 Qt 5.6.1 (built against 5.6.1) The xcb windowing system but running "akonadictl vacuum" and "akonadictl fsck" seem to clear it up for a few days
