Description Ronnie Wong 2016-02-25 23:56:13 UTC
Gletters running on Windows 10 Laptop.

In the module - discover the computer with keyboard selected, playing simple letters with keyboard will not type the letter or escape key out of anything by default.

I have to click on the wrench when in-game, click cancel or apply will solve the issue but problem persist after running the game next time round.

Same results for administrator profile as well as students profile

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Close Gcompris and run again
2.
3.

Actual Results:
all keyboard button stop working

Expected Results:
Keyboard should be active without the need to click on wrench to bring up the screen of gcompris configuration for profile default.

This is a standalone install not running on server.

Hi,

to be sure, it is this version: http://gcompris.net/download/beta/gcompris-qt-0.60-win32.exe or the Gtk+ version ?

If you don't know, does the application look like: http://gcompris.net/screenshots-en.html (Gtk+ version) or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.gcompris (KDE/Qt version).

This is a bug in the Gtk+ version. The user should try out the Qt version, won't try to fix that in the Gtk+ version.
