Description Armin Mohring 2016-02-18 12:23:41 UTC
It is meaningful, if it is possible to set the burning speed to the user preferences.
E.g.: 4x, 6x, 8x, and so on.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start K3B
2. Insert CD-RW or DVD-RW
3. Start burning
4. Can´t set burning speed to e.g.: 4x, ....

Actual Results:
The burning speed to set to the CD-RW s maximum.

Expected Results:
Set to 4x or 6x or 8x

Work in progress.

Write speed is reduced, but not displayed.

Hi,

Medium or burner might *NOT* support writting at 4x speed! for example, using CDEmu: cdemu create-blank --writer-id=WRITER-ISO --medium-type=dvd+r 0 ~/virt.iso then burning openSUSE.iso, you will see it!
