balooctl status shows that baloo is working normally. I can search for files using Krunner (Alt+F2) or by typing in the Kickoff application launcher.

However, in Dolphin, search produce 0 results whether I use the Places panel and click on 'Documents', 'Images' etc. or if I use the Ctrl + F search toolbar and search by either filename or content.

I have tried using a new user with a brand new config but the same problem happens.

Dolphin 15.12.1 is pretty old at this point, and search has been improved a lot since then. If you;re using Arch, can you try again with later software and let me know if it's still not working?
