When specifying the proxy only as "hostname" and not as "http://hostname" the settings are written to file but now showing in the dialog after reopening the dialog see : ~/.config/kioslaverc ProxyUrlDisplayFlags=15 [Proxy Settings] NoProxyFor= Proxy Config Script= ProxyType=1 ReversedException=false ftpProxy=proxy02 9090 httpProxy=proxy02 9090 httpsProxy=proxy02 9090 socksProxy=proxy02 9090 This is used but not shown in the dialog this is shown ProxyUrlDisplayFlags=0 [Proxy Settings] NoProxyFor= Proxy Config Script= ProxyType=0 ReversedException=false ftpProxy=http://proxy02:9090 httpProxy=http://proxy02:9090 httpsProxy=http://proxy02:9090 socksProxy=http://proxy02:9090
Thanks for the report Michael. I've just tested this on systemsettings 5.20.2 and I can't replicate the issue. Both file and GUI show the hostname for me. Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved.
