(openSUSE Tumbleweed with latest KDE, including kde-cli-tools5-5.5.3) kdesu segfaults when I click the "cancel" button. An interesting detail is that it also shows the --help output in this case. Both should not happen ;-) # kdesu xterm ... click the "cancel" button ... Usage: kdesu [options] command Runs a program with elevated privileges. Options: [...] Arguments: command Specifies the command to run as separate arguments Segmentation fault (core dumped) The backtrace is not really helpful - even with all suggested debuginfo packages installed, I only get (gdb) bt #0 0x00007f03fc47be29 in ?? () #1 0x0000000000000000 in ?? () (gdb)
I can confirm the same behavior based on git master.
I can confirm also I'm on OpenSUSE 42.2 running kde-cli-tools5-5.8.2
