Description eezacque 2016-02-16 18:24:52 UTC
I am using a short (30 seconds) fragment near the end of a long (1 hour, 44 minutes) audio clip.
Preview plays okay, but rendering yields a low rumbling sound, like the original at a low pitch.
Picking a fragment closer to the beginning works fine.
Cutting the audio clip in kdenlive doesn't work.
Cutting the audio clip in audacity works.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import a wav audio clip, at least 1 hour, 44 minutes, and include it in the timeline
2. Render a zone from 1:40:00-1:40:30
3. Play the resulting video file

Actual Results:
The start of the video is a low-pitched rumbling, later on it seems to catch up and play ok.

Expected Results:
I expect the audio to play normal, as in preview, ot any other audio player.

eeuacque, can you please so kind as to check if this problem is still present with recent stable Kdenlive 16.04.2 and MLT 6.2.0+ at least? If not, please be so kind as to close this bug report. If the bug is still present, you you please supply a minimized Kdenlive project that triggers the bug. If you render using a rendering script, does the problem still persist? If yes, I would assume that this is in fact an upstream MLT bug, so I would ask you to file a bug report with the MLT project then, as it wouldn't be a Kdenlive bug. Thank you very much for your cooperation!
