When kdenlive opens up, the layout is terrible (IMHO) and I have a few layouts that I like to use. 
However, there is no option to set any one of those as a default, and so I have to load a layout every time I open kdenlive to get a usable UI. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Kdenlive
2.Use profanities at the horrible layout
3.Load usual layout
4. Edit

Actual Results:  
Irritation at having to perform the same step again and again... not user-friendly

Expected Results:  
When kdenlive opens up, it should either use the layout from last time, or a default.

i can't reproduce this using 15.12.1 nor 15.13. which version are u using?

I'm using the latest master from git. 
However, I am a little confused. 

The issue here is that I cannot set a default layout. Never could, in any version since 0.7. 

Hence, the severity of the bug has been listed as "wishlist"
