On Kaffeine version 2.0.1, we updated the scan file to match the latest versio of the DTV Scan tables at:
https://git.linuxtv.org/dtv-scan-tables.git/

PLease ignore comment 1. It is incomplete.

On Kaffeine version 2.0.1, we updated the scan file to match the latest version of the DTV Scan tables at:
    https://git.linuxtv.org/dtv-scan-tables.git/
Please check if the channels you need are there. If not, please send a patch adding the channels you're using for your city, and we'll be adding it to Kaffeine upstream. You should use the "--output-dvbsrc" option with w_scan to generate the file on the correct format.

If you're using a new version of Kaffeine (1.3.1 or upper), you can generate the scanfile.dvb yourself using the source code. The README file has instructions on how to compile the code. After compiled, assuming that you cloned the dtv-scan-tables to directory ~/dtv-scan-tables and added there the channel list, you can generate a new scanfile with:

./tools/convertscanfiles ~/dtv-scan-tables/ src/scanfile.dvb

As this bug is actually related to dtv-scan-tables tree, I'm closing it.
