After searching for "foo" in Kickoff, the "foo" item's right-click options are limited to "Add to favourites".
However, if you right-click "foo" in the favourites or in the apps category screen, you get all options including "Add to desktop" and "Add to control panel".

Reproducability: always.
Expected behaviour: Provide all available options for items in the search results of Kickoff.
Use case: Easily populating the task manager after a fresh install or switching to another task manager widget.

P.s.: Drag 'n drop of items from the search results to the control panel won't work either.

Both these issues are fixed in Plasma 5.6
