The job queue in the rendering dialog marks the currently rendering job with a window icon with a green play arrow. This is inconsistent with the tool bar button for the rendering dialog, which is a "record" icon. I would thus like to suggest to replace the current icon for the active rendering job with the record icon that is also used in the tool bar for the rendering dialog itself. Reproducible: Always
Wegerf, do you think it could also be more appropriate to change the Render icon entirely? Do you think the "record" icon image convey the proper message to users?
I admit that at first I found the recording icon for rendering totally counterintuitive; I thought it would refer to recording from a firewire camera or screen recording. However, I still have no clear idea what symbol could be used for rendering. Maybe an export icon but I'm not sure.
What about starting from the breeze document export icon and using a film strip instead of the document?
