Description Victor Porton 2016-02-10 18:02:51 UTC
In Okular 0.23.2 when I copy (using Text Selection Tool) a chapter header, newline is added to the copied header at the end.

This extraneous newline is annoying and is misinterpreted by some other software when I Paste.

Please make not to add newline at the end of copied header.

Example PDF document with this "feature":
http://www.mathematics21.org/binaries/volume-1.pdf

Reproducible: Always

Vaguely reminds me of Bug #208857, but that one was fixed...;
Note that for me a newline is added whenever I select a word at the end of a line.
I thought I saw a similar bug (different from #208857) reported earlier, but now
I can't seem to find it.

Podofo version 0.24.5
Okular version 0.20.3

Thanks for the report Victor.

I was going to test this but the link in your first post is now dead. Are you able to provide another PDF where this occurs?

Is this issue still occurring for you on any other PDF?

First the link isn't and wasn't dead.

Second, it is so for all PDFs at least ones generated by LaTeX.

I get a 404 when trying to open the first link but your second works.

Issue confirmed on Okular from git master.
