When ksysguard connects to a remote machine (after i entered the wallet password), the sensor is displayed, but the scales in the plot are not set properly. If i then exit ksysguard and restart it, it again asks for the wallet password, but then the scales are correct Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make you remote machine unreachable 2. Start ksysguard on the remote machine 3. Exit ksysguard 4. Make the remote machine reachable again 5. Start ksysguard 6. Enter the wallet password 7. Now the scales are incorrect 8. Stop and start ksysguard one more time 9, Now the scales are correct. Actual Results: Sensor is display with incorrect scales Expected Results: Sensors are display with correct scales I'm running on openSUSE Lead 42.1
Any news ?
Can you reproduce this issue with current version of ksysguard and qt?
I'm currently running Leap 15.0 on both nodes and the issue changed a little, but i am still able to reproduce the scaling issue. 1. i run ksysguard on the local node L and monitor remote node R 2. the scales are correct 3. while ksysguard is running i shutdown node R 4. ksysguard stops displaying the remote sensors (of course) 5. I stop running ksysguard 6. next i start node R again 7. once node R is up completely i start running ksysgard again on node L to monitor node R 8. Now the scales are wrong and the sensor isn't displayed (not sure this is equal to the original issue) 9. Only when i select File -> Monitor Remote Machine -> Enter R, the sensors will start displaying again, but the scale is still incorrect. 10. Only stopping ksysguard and starting it again, will fix the scaling as well. When i stop ksysguard first instead of step 3 and start it again after node R is up and running, ksysgard works OK (so that's the procedure i normally follow to work around this) On node L: $ rpm -qa | grep ksys ksysguard5-lang-5.12.6-lp150.2.3.1.noarch libksysguard5-helper-5.12.6-lp150.2.3.1.x86_64 ksysguard5-5.12.6-lp150.2.3.1.x86_64 libksysguard5-5.12.6-lp150.2.3.1.x86_64 libksysguard5-lang-5.12.6-lp150.2.3.1.noarch On node R: rpm -qa|grep ksys libksysguard5-lang-5.12.6-lp150.2.3.1.noarch ksysguard5-5.12.6-lp150.2.3.1.x86_64 ksysguard5-lang-5.12.6-lp150.2.3.1.noarch libksysguard5-5.12.6-lp150.2.3.1.x86_64 libksysguard5-helper-5.12.6-lp150.2.3.1.x86_64

ksysguard is no longer maintained, in Plasma 6 there is the Plasma system monitor for this task. If your issue still happens with the Plasma 6 replacement, please re-open and we can move this bug to the new product, thanks!
