When changing keyboard shortcuts in Kile via Settings -> Configure Shortcuts, any changes made to the "Kate Part" shortcuts are not stored correctly. While the changed shortcuts ARE written to the file "~/.kde/share/apps/katepart/katepartui.rc" when clicking on "OK" in the shortcut settings, they seem to be lost everytime Kile is started or the settings dialog is brought up again. The bug occurs on the following combination of versions: KDE 4.14.2, Kile 2.1.3, Kate Part 3.7, Debian 8 64bit, Gnome 3.14.1. The same thing also happens for Kate. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Kile 2. Go to Settings -> Configure Shortcuts 3. Change some shortcut in the "Kate Part" 4. Click OK. 5. Check "~/.kde/share/apps/katepart/katepartui.rc", the custom shortcut is saved in the file. 6. Close Kile, restart Kile. 5. Check "~/.kde/share/apps/katepart/katepartui.rc" again, the custom shortcut is gone, as is the setting in the shortcuts dialog. Actual Results: The shortcuts in the "Kate Part" settings are gone. Expected Results: Shortcuts should persist. It does NOT happen for shortcuts in the "Kile" register.
This seems to work fine with Kile compiled from git master (commit fe472dc3e4ea24b637a69b54711ba4f1f8f873dc).
