Cross-reference: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1295161 The Fedora project wouldn't mind including this in their design spin, but because of a lack of source files (see link above), it is not possible for people to add/test these Animation alphas/betas. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. "dnf install krita-animation-testing" 2. 3. Actual Results: Errors displayed: No package krita-animation-testing available. Error: Unable to find a match. Expected Results: I would hope to at least be able to install krita-animation-testing... Running Fedora 23 Design Suite Spin: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Design_Suite
Hm, I'm sorry but the animation beta wasn't meant as an official release. It was a beta, meant for testers, not for general use. For Fedora's design spin, the regular, stable 2.9.11 we'll be releasing tomorrow will be much more appropriate. And maybe possibly something that follows the 3.0 development releases we're doing now? That includes the finished animation support. Oh, and another thing: in the discussion I saw that someone felt that Synfig and Krita's animation plugin are duplicating functionality. That is not the case. Synfix focuses on vector-and-bone-based animation, Krita on hand-drawn animation.
