Kmail appears responsive: it downloads messages from my mail accounts. However, it continuously displays the message "Retrieving Folder Contents" in the message viewing pane. Also, when messages that haven't been read and are clicked on remain highlighted as unread.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure KMail to an IMAP email account (GMail for example) with no special settings (I did check to allow subscriptions to folders).
2. Allow KMail to refresh its folder contents.
3. Click on any messages that appear the your folder.


Actual Results:  
IMAP folders list is populated with the correct folders and messages are retrieved from the hosting servers. Messages list is populated with the correct messages listed. None of the messages display in the message viewing pane.

Expected Results:  
I expected KMail to display the message after I clicked on it.

System packages upgraded and computer restart seems to have resolved the problem.
