Description Catalina Oprea 2016-01-23 09:22:23 UTC
Krita will freeze as soon as I put brush to canvas. The Freehand brushstroke text appears at the bottom bar with its little loading bar and stays there until you touch Krita again, at which point Krita crashes. If I disable opengl after starting krita but before opening an image however, I can paint as normal.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start krita
2. open an image
3. touch the canvas

Actual Results:
Krita freezes and crashes

Expected Results:
Paint a brushstroke

I have AMD Radeon, on Win7 64, Wacom 5 .

Well, to be honest, crashes and hangs are the Expected Results with krita 3.0 pre-alpha :-). Could you install debugview (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/debugview.aspx) , start it, run krita again and provoke the crash, then save the output to a file and attach it to this bug report? That might be able to tell me what the issue is in the AMD Radeon driver.

Please check with 3.0 final.
