I saw the implementation of the clip usage indicator in the Project Bin. Very nice, very nice. I might consider taking it a step further: Have an menu option in the context menu that says something like "Show clip in timeline", which should, in the timeline, highlight all of the instances where the clip has been inserted. Would seem like a handy editing tool to show the clip instead of looking through the timeline for the clip.

Reproducible: Always

Bug filed while testing Kdenlive-git 15.13.0.r6946.240d432-1, running Antergos (Arch) Linux x64, GNOME 3.18.2.

I agree! this would be very useful, particularly on longer projects.

A few builds back, there was a new feature in the Project Bin context menu to show where in the timeline the clip actually was, then it moves the timeline cursor to the beginning of that clip you selected. Frankly, the highlight thing would be a nice improvement, but I think this works well enough to satisfy the request. Nice work JB! Marking this suggestion as resolved.
