1. Drop a 70 KB log file and choose pastebin 2. pastebin sends some longish reply (look like HTML instead of a link, http://pastebin.com/api/api_post.php, Bad API request, invalid api_option 3. Right-click on the applet to look what has happend => Screen goes black (mouse still available). ESC or mouse click restores the screen. Looks like the normally appearing context menu somehow makes the screen black.
Does it always happen? I need some way to reproduce...
It does NOT happen when I choose a 500 KB file. Then pastebin replies with a "maximum file size exeeded message". I tried it again now with a 34 KB big file: 1. drop it on applet 2. wait 3. see a popup that shows this link "http://pastebin.com/api/api_post.php" 4. Right-click on applet => screen goes black. When I enter the URL into Firefox, it shows "Bad API request, invalid api_option"
Created attachment 96872 [details] the 34 KB file I used
I reduced the file size to about 2 KB. After dropping and choosing pastebin, there is a checkmark. When hovering with mouse, there is a tooltip containing the link (which is underlined) but I cannot click it because the tooltip disappears. The right-click = black screen behavior is still there. I think it is because the api_post.php link is part of the list of history items which causes the malfunction.
The black screen issue does not happen anymore (Plasma 5.9.2). When I now upload the contents to Pastebin.com of the attachment of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358268#c3 then for a few seconds an error message tooltip is shown that Pastebin.com does not accept the content ("heavy load").
