Description Abhishek Batra 2016-01-20 16:42:17 UTC
While trying to create a new To-do KOrganizer does not allow changing to an AM time for Start/Due time.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Click "New To-do".
2. Deselect "All Day"
3. Try to set time to AM.

The above steps are valid if current time is in PM. Yet to try out what happens when the current time is AM.

Regards,
Abhishek

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click "New To-do".
2. Deselect "All Day"
3. Try to set time to AM.

Actual Results:
Time doesn't change to AM

Expected Results:
I should be able to select an AM time.

Confirmed.

Still occurring in 16.12.

Mornings have been deprecated in Korganizer or it's a glaring regression :D

Similar problem from another user here -> https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showthread.php?69327-Kontact-Doesn-t-Provide-AM-Times

However trying the same workaround of setting a different Timezone from the actual location (how can this be good?) doesn't actually work either because setting Timezone's don't stick in KDE5 either.

Judging by the lack of response to this bug in nearly a year I'd guess that no-one is seriously using this software anymore anyway :(
Comment 3 Allen Winter 2017-06-21 20:56:40 UTC
a few comments:
 - the timezone is set in your system, not by korganizer
 - the kubuntu workaround talks about changing the way datetimes are formatted, not about which timezone.

this looks more like a bug in the timeselection widget and not korganizer itself.

Still not working Plasma 5.12.6 Framework 5.44.0
All other calenders work only Korganiser with the bug
Comment 5 Christoph Feck 2018-08-18 10:07:34 UTC
Could you please test with Frameworks 5.49.0? It could be a duplicate of bug 361764.
Comment 6 gjditchfield 2020-10-25 17:07:32 UTC
Can you still reproduce this problem? I suspect it is a duplicate of bug 410167, which has been fixed.
