Since a series of package updates in openSUSE Tumbleweed approximately a week ago, openSUSE detects my hard disks (root and home partitions) as removable drives and treats them as USB sticks. It is probably a KDE specific bug or a problem with drive mounting. This doesn't have any major drawbacks that I can notice... other than they appear in the system tray device notifier, and have the USB icon in Dolphin rather than the disk icon. As this is still a bug and might be potentially dangerous in other circumstances, I concluded it should be reported. Reproducible: Always
