Description Simone Gaiarin 2016-01-16 09:59:20 UTC
A feature I really miss in Okular is the abilty to add text inline with a transparent background in order to be able to fill static form fields.

One can tweak the inline note to display a white background but a frame will be displayed around the text. Moreover since the inline note is not rescalable, it's difficult to match the font required to fill the fields without going above the surrounding text.

Either a new tool should be created (preferred way) or the inline note should be adjustable in order to allow transparent background and no border and possibly the ability to add text inline.

A good example is the text input tool of xournal.

Xournal inline text input

We can see allows to insert text in a field in a precise way. A similar tool should be present in Okular.
