Description Christian Kalkhoff 2016-01-07 12:35:03 UTC
Applies to kontact5 from OBS-Packages on OpenSuse Leap 42.1

I added a new journal entry and chose "Show rich text" in the input window. I can input my text, use rich text and save it.

After save the rich text is rendered correctly in the left pane but i get HTML source in the center list widget.

Also generating the print preview shows the HTML source of the entry instead of rendered rich text.

Opening the entry for editing again shows correct rich text. Saving again makes no difference.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new journal entry
2. Active rich text and input some content using rich text formating
3. Save the entry

Actual Results:
The preview of the entry in the list shows HTML source instead of rendered rich text.

Expected Results:
The preview of the entry in the list should show rendered rich text

Saving on Kolab

I tried to create a test case for screenshots but the new entry worked. I restarted kontact and afterwards the old entry was rendered properly too.

So if you not yet use the journal try adding a first entry and look what happens.

Sorry, seems not too easy to reproduce. Here is what i did:

1. Start kontact
2. Create new Journal Entry
3. Keep the current date
4. Enter a description
5. Enter some text
6. Activate rich text
7. Enter rich text
8. Create

Just tried to reproduce the bug. As it turns out, it works as expected in current versions.
