In many versions and later (2.9.10) have a bug. 
When change brush settings, paste brush icon, and save preset, then this icon save on low resolution (look at screenshot). Fix this please, and can you make, than users can create icons themself, not in this small window

You can load .kpp paintop preset files as images in krita and edit the icon on the main canvas, then save them.
