Trying to Decrypt and verify an ISO signature file, Kleopatra hangs. The Decrypt/Verify window comes up, saying, "Operation 1: Verifying signature: " and the name of the signature file, but it just keeps working indefinitely with no result. This happens repeatedly - tried re-downloading the ISO and signature files etc. always with the same result. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: I would expect it to come back with a result - either that the file is correct, or with a warning that there was not enough data to verify, or with a failure message. I'm running Windows 10.
Can you give me an example of the file that fails to verify? (As you say downloaded I am hoping it's a public download) And what do you mean by indefinetly? Gpg4win has some performance problems still so it might just take very long. Have you tried to use gnupg from the command line to verify this file?
