Newest kmail version stores its kmail2rc in ~/.config instead of ~/.kde4/share/config Customised message aggregation and theming info were not imported into new config, nor can they be added by manually editing the kmail2rc file Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. export one of the 3 default themes to a file 2. edit that file, copy the theming from the old kmail2rc into it 3. change "Set3" to "Set0" :-) 4. import theme into kmail Actual Results: nothing happens, no error message, no new theme visible Expected Results: new theme available in the list just *any* way of importing data would make me happy :-) kmail 5.1 using KDE Frameworks 5.17.0 Qt 5.5.1 (built against 5.5.1) The xcb windowing system on arch linux
What do you use to import it ?
settings->configure kmail->appearance->message list->configure(default theme)->import just the button below the "export" I used in step 1
I tested this morning it worked fine. could you attach a testcase for it so I can test here ? thanks
Created attachment 96371 [details] theme from older kmail2 This is one of my import trials
