Description David REVOY 2015-12-28 15:21:59 UTC
Hi, a bug I found using 2.9.10 up-to-date (and also in animation branch) : the zoom canvas with Ctrl+<space> is broken. It locks sometime the <ctrl> key 'on' , or lock sometime the color-picker, or display continuously the zoom magnifier, or even attempt to do a vector selection ( blue selection square + icon ).
This behavior is here since around 10 days, but I didn't had time to report it immediately. I used the mouse scroll zoom or the '+' and '-' key as a work-around.

Hi, David!

I cannot reproduce this bug. Neither on 2.9 nor on animation branches :( Could you make a video of this bug or just find some more info about it? Probably, cleaning-up/backup the shortcuts configuration folder might help?

Hi Dmitry,

Thanks for trying to reproduce this bug. I can also confirm this bug happens only on certain type of hardware. I tested the bug on my desktop PC with : on 3 clean build folder of 2.9.10/2.9Git-master/2.9Git-animation + removed all ~/.kde config folder + empty config open-box WM session (to be sure the desktop environment settings interact) and I can reproduce the bug in all cases.
On the other hands, I tried to reproduce on my laptop, and it was impossible to reproduce on it.
The major difference ; desktop use Nvidia proprietary driver ; Laptop Intel gfx.

Here is a short video commented ( 2:50min ) : http://www.davidrevoy.com/XYZ/2016-01-13_control-space_krita-bug.webm

This behavior disapeared with Krita 2.9.11 and I can't reproduce it anymore. It was a good surprise to notice it. I suspect I had a broken or polluted build on my main install when I reported. This bug can be closed.
