I clicked on krita in the application menu and it loaded for a split second then crashed. It did this repeatedly. Same for when I type "krita" into the terminal.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Hi Malcolm,

Thanks for your report. This looks like an installation problem, though. In the backtrace, it shows that an assert is fired in KoMainWindow. What text does the assert print if you start krita from a terminal?

(Oh, and Fedora's Krita is very outdated, we're currently at 2.9.10.)

Okay, closing then. If building Krita yourself didn't work, please try the 3.0 appimage.
