@Rasto, if you're experiencing stability issues, I might recommend you try updating to the latest release of Kdenlive. If you're using Kubuntu, you can add this PPA to your system to get the latest stable release. In a terminal, type these commands: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:sunab/kdenlive-release sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade If kdenlive is not installed, then replace the last command in the list above with this one: sudo apt-get install kdenlive There have been numerous stability improvements in this version. See if that works for you. :)
If you have GPU acceleration enabled, please check if it helps turning it off Instructions: Settings - Playback - Use GPU processing (Movit library) - Continue (video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47maykCIo5w )
@Jesse, thank you, after update it's better, kdenlive is crashing randomly sometime @qubodup GPU acceleration cannot set

The titler crash was fixed in MLT's current git version, and will be part of MLT 0.6.2 that is not released yet. We recommend that you use our official Ubuntu PPA's: https://launchpad.net/~kdenlive/+archive/ubuntu/kdenlive-stable This provides latest stable version of Kdenlive with recent git version of MLT / Freior and should fix the titler crash.
