Because polkit-qt-1 still use ConsoleKit, so KAuth might failed to work owing to without ConsoleKit dbus service in new Linux distribution using systemd-logind https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CWu7z1yU4AAJ70q.png

so it need to migrate polkit-qt-1 to systemd-logind, and here is the patch https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/125856/

Heya, Is this still an issue? And if so could you repost your patch on invent.kde.org, I've been talking to the sysadmins and unfortunately that reviewboard diff got lost at some point :(
