Description Gregor Mi 2015-12-18 16:39:58 UTC
When I logon to my plasma 5.5.1 session, there are currently four empty kate windows "restored". Is it possible to clear this session information to prevent the session to open all these windows at startup/login?

I started kate from the console. It prints some warnings:

0x27e6220 void QWindowPrivate::setTopLevelScreen(QScreen*, bool) ( QScreen(0x1f974b0) ): Attempt to set a screen on a child window.
0x27e6740 void QWindowPrivate::setTopLevelScreen(QScreen*, bool) ( QScreen(0x1f974b0) ): Attempt to set a screen on a child window.

But when I close kate using the X-Button from the window the process does not end.

When I use File->Quit however, kate closes properly.

(This does not happen with kwrite)
