Description Angelos Skembris 2015-12-16 13:13:46 UTC
This module does not seem to detect the installed spell checking languages.

Specifically, I have installed both aspell-el and ispell-greek, but the only available language for spell checking is the system language (american english). Not even British or Canadian english are available.

I believe this is causing KMail 5.0.3 to not display the available spell checking languages properly.

KMail2 and Kile detect the available languages correctly (greek, american english, british english etc are available for spellchecking).

Am I missing a specific package?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install aspell-el or aspell-en
2. Open Systemsettings -> Regional Setting -> Spell check
3. Try to change default language

Actual Results:
Only one language is display (American English, United States)

Expected Results:
Other languages, such as Greek, should be available.

Using version 5.5.1, KDE Frameworks 5.17.0, Qt 5.5.1, on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed RPMs.

Additional information at your disposal.

5.21.70 can confirm this is still an issue, installed aspell-el and it is not shown as a spellcheck language in Regional > Spell Check.
