Description Alexandre Pereira 2015-12-15 21:16:28 UTC
When enabling pager activity names on the activity pager, this causes the pager to resize to accommodate those names.

When resizing, it does so like in this video at second 35 and up:
https://youtu.be/co7Jyal4T3Q

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.add activity pager to a panel with minimum size
2.enable names on the same pager
3.restart plasmashell, watch pager resize slowly

PS: Unfortunately this animation is very annoying as if the panel is auto hidden, it will popup and be visible, just to do this animation.

Apps: 17.12.2
Frameworks: 5.43.0
Qt: 5.10.1
Kernel: 4.14.22-1-MANJARO
OS: Netrunner Rolling

A lot has changed since this bug was filed. Is it still reproducible for you in Plasma 5.24 (the latest LTS version) or 5.25 (the latest version, period)?

Indeed ... sorry this escaped my attention, as I did a workaround for this to not happen.

I was not able to trigger this anymore, seems fixed!

( hope you don't mind changing directly to resolved/fixed )

No worries!
