Description Slobodan Terzić 2015-12-15 14:58:08 UTC
Kbreakout 15.11.90 is messed up, terminal output is filled with a neverending wall of

QQuickWidget cannot be used as a native child widget. Consider setting Qt::AA_DontCreateNativeWidgetSiblings

and the area where the actual game should be is just black

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Kbreakout 15.11.90
2. Run Kbreakout
3. Game not visible, just a window with menu and black area where actual game should be

Actual Results:
Game not visible, just a window with menu and black area where actual game should be

Expected Results:
Display the game

Window and menu are there, game settings are there, it's just the area that should contain the game itself that is blacked out.

I was suggested that this is actually a bug in Breeze, and that it should be fixed in 5.5.1.
Indeed, it does work when I run 'kbreakout --style=Oxygen', however update to breeze(-kde4) 5.5.1 did not have any effect, there are still those same messages and same blackness in game window,

(In reply to Justin Zobel from comment #2)
I observe the mentioned error message also with the software package “KBreakout 20.12.3”.
