It would be great to navigate the calendar widget with arrows (eg Left -> previous month, Right -> next month). Right now one could configure a hot key to show the calendar, but then it's necessary to use mouse to move between months. Reproducible: Always
I don't know how to vote for this so i will say here in the comment +1
Thanks for the report I've just checked and actually no systray applets have keyboard navigation. I don't know if that is the system limitation or if none just implements it. I'll have to investigate that issue first.
BTW it used to be possible in the past, at least somehow. Using the TAB key enough times the widget got to a state where one could use arrows to navigate it by days. > I've just checked and actually no systray applets > have keyboard navigation. I just recently fixed a bunch of issues related to keyboard focus getting lost somewhere in system tray. I can defintely tab through controls of Battery Monitor and scroll through Plasma NM. It's just that the active focus highlighting is nearly invisible with the new Breeze Plasma theme.
I noticed that up and down arrows are working as navigation in Clipboard widget only. Left/right and up/down arrows could be used as navigation in Calendar widget, Space key could be used as go to current date feature.
You can tab through to get to the < and > controls but it would be nice to be able to navigate directly from the calendar itself.
