Description Massimiliano 2015-12-14 10:43:40 UTC
I use my laptop with an external monitor through DisplayPort, and I often suspend it and unplug the monitor to go somewhere, or the other way around.
When I later resume from this situation, I get bug report assistants for crashes in kdeinit and plasma5.

Most of the times the whole shell crashed and I am thrown back to login screen [sddm].

This worked fine with KDE4.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect external monitor, configured as primary
2. Suspend
3. Unplug monitor
4. Resume

Actual Results:
Plasma crashes and eventually takes me back to login

Expected Results:
Plasma detects screen configuration changes and resumes on the correct screen.
