I agree that that icon looks confusing at first sight and that icons that are pointed towards a corner are more familiar. Breeze has a colorpicker cursor, which could be used http://i.imgur.com/X0Dg5gG.png
I prefer something like this: https://github.com/KDE/krita/blob/46c8b4048fc7f5b81a4128bc4dcaf1568d3cf316/krita/data/cursors/color-picker_image_foreground.xpm (You must download it and open it with an image viewer to see it properly)
Any artist would prepare an SVG with the proper color codes allowing KF5 color theme switching?
(In reply to Vincent PINON from comment #3) > Any artist would prepare an SVG with the proper color codes allowing KF5 > color theme switching? Sorry but I didn't understand. What does the proper color codes mean? Obviously me asking means I don't know how to help but I can take this to the VDG people or if you show me the way I'll try to do it. You're talking about the cursor I proposed right? I somehow remember that someone tackled this issue in the bug squashing day I just can't find the log to be sure...
