Description mueller_francis 2015-12-13 11:10:34 UTC
When I use my graphic tablet (http://www.trust.com/en/product/16529-slimline-widescreen-tablet) The Animation Beta of Krita 2.9 crashes. It works just fine if I use the mouse instead. I don't have another graphic tablet, so I can't judge if it's a problem of the tablet, but the stable version of Krita works fine with my tablet.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plug graphic tablet in
2. Start Krita
3. Try to draw on the tablet

Actual Results:
Krita crashes and I had to force quit it.

Expected Results:
Draw a line

I see that this is still a beta and so I don't expect this bug to be fixed in the next few days, I just wanted you to know about it

Hi Francis,

Both versions really have the same tablet code, so I don't know what's up. We also don't have the hardware, which makes debugging hard. But does the crash also happen if you turn opengl off? Does it make a difference whether Instant Preview is on or off?

I've just tested it and Krita doesn't crash when you turn instant preview off.
