You have to quit Dolphin for it to clear the Trash.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Delete a folder with right-click-menu Move to Trash.
2. Go to Trash right-click-menu click Empty Trash.
3.

Actual Results:  
Folder will continue to exist in Trash. Empty Trash option grays out.

Expected Results:  
Trash should be cleared out on clicking Empty Trash.

My understanding is that Dolphin fails to refresh the UI which requires quitting Dolphin.
