It would come in handy if one had an option in the rightclick menu on a folder to open this folder not in a completely new window or tab, but in the other split view tab to then work with both folders at the same time. Now I manually have to navigate to the second folder in the second split view tab. This happens often as the folders you work on are in the same subfolder. 

Another solution would be a an option to "mirror" the split view tabs.
